Hello guys, I have a W18 alarm system.
When a sensor has low battery, from time to time, the alarms sounds once (like an indicator)
But, I have over 15 sensors... How can I know which one has the low batt?
I read (cant remember where) that the system sends an sms. but I only get sms's when the alarm is triggered.
any news? thanx a lot

Would be nice to have a very sophisticated system that tells you which sensor has the low battery.. To answer your question - not that I know of..

Hello guys, I have a W18 alarm system. When a sensor has low battery, from time to time, the alarms sounds once (like an indicator) That's a cool feature. Which alarm model do you have? W1 doesn't do that I just go along every 2 or so months with battery tester and replace dead batteries. One thing is for sure I have always bought cheap arse batteries, but in the PIR sensors which tend to go the quickest I have started using more expensive batteries.

Yes indeed, I have the w18, however I haven't noticed that feature yet Probably will look into getting rechargeable batteries for the Wireless PIR units (good ones)

Right now I have a sensor with low baterry and the alarm system is sending SMSs every minute. There is no way to disable this notification. I cannot replace the battery because the alarm system is installed in a remote location.

I have the same problem and have checked all sensors with no apparent low batteries Factory reset will presumably mean I have to re register all sensors?
