I just found out that there are few versions of W193 produced for different markets. it support WCDMA 850 MHz and 1900 MHz for US market and support 850 and 2100 MHz for EU, 900 and 2100 MHz Australia market. ae01.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1ywK2X0LO8KJjSZFxq6yGEVXaR.jpgPanel display shows supported frequency once I turn the power on. Please check your device and SIM supplier if frequencies are same. Can anyone please confirm that the W193 supports frequencies in the Australia and or New Zealand? I tried emailing Kerui but got no response to date. Can anyone advise where I can get the info? Many Thanks Buy the looks of the screenshot supplied by aung you need to check with your supplier which subversion of the W193 they are supplying and ensure you are getting the SIM5360J model.

I have the same problem in Australia with W193 not recognising a 3g sim. It should as the unit reports that it supports 850 and 2100 MHz. I am also after ideas. It may be coincidence, but in the security settings, there is an additional item, not covered in the manual, of PIN. Does anyone know what that is for?
