If your having problems pairing your Smart socket to your W1 try these steps.
Reset your smart socket - 1. Turn off the power at the wall. 2. Hold the button down on the smart socket. 3. Still holding the button down turn on the power at the wall. 4. The red led will flash slowly at first and then faster and faster until the LED goes solid red. 5. The smart socket is now cleared back to factory.
Re-pair your socket - 1. After resetting your socket as above turn the power off at the wall wait a few seconds and then turn the power back on. 2. Hold the button down on the smart socket for 3-5seconds until the red LED light goes off (the socket is now in pairing mode). 3. On your app (the manual says too use the buttons on W1 but the app works also) turn on or off the smart socket group you want it to belong too. The smart socket will flash twice blue to indicate it has paired (but won't work yet). 4. Turn the power off at the wall and back on (the manual forgets to tell you this step). The smart socket should now work with your app.

I had to follow these steps this morning. For any reason the socket lost connection to the W1 and only continued working manually... Weird, that this happens...

Yes, worked perfectly. Quite funny, that it forgets about the devices. Similar also to my large pain with the indoor siren....

Similar also to my large pain with the indoor siren.... hmm that doesn't sound normal (about the forgetting) the devices should be flashed to the eprom chip on w1 and stay there. What is a bugger with these units is there is no way to power them on and off (coz of the backup battery) or restart them which is so important for software code. If the code runs into corner we should be able to power cycle them without having to reset them.

Wondering S71 can be programme as a multi purpose wireless smart switch.
Eg:After link to alarm system to turn on the power of an electrical appliances when the alarm trigger and there are times you need to use it to connect to a slow cooker. You unplugged it and programme it as a wireless timer. Thereafter if you were to link it back to the alarm system, do you need to reprogrammed again.

Btw model S71 can link to alarm system, model S72 can only use as a wireless smart switch and cannot pair with alarm system.

Hello guys, can you help me with one problem, please? I trying to add S72 to my app. As a first step, I've tried to connect to the same wifi. There are plenty of other networks around me, how should I know which one is socket connecting to? It seems when a socket is plugged in there is a new network but it requires a password. What is the default password for the socket wifi? I tried all other steps but they are not working, I assume the reason is that I can't connect to the same network.
