I was able to configure W1 with J009 and S71 at my initial setup of W1. But after few days S71 and J009 don't respond to W1 commands. I did reset of S71 and J009 and tried again according to these videos. and .
But both of them are not responding to W1 at learning mode. J009 siren respond well for Motion sensor at learning mode and it can learn well with it. It gives the loud sound when motion sensor detects the motion. So that's mean, there is nothing wrong with the siren. So I suspect that there is problem with W1 and not also with S71. I did factory reset of W1 and configured from the beginning. But the problem is still there. Can someone please help me to solve this problem.

I guess there might not be a lot to recommend, unless someone had the same issue. Only thought I would have, is to disconnect the W1 and J009 from the power supply and wait also until the batteries are completely empty while doing a hard reset. Maybe that kills the memory, too.

Can someone please help me to solve this problem. I have 2 smart sockets like the small one in the video and 1 like the big one. I remember I initially purchased the 1st smart socket as part of the package deal I got and I can't remember having any problems. Later I purchased the other 2 but from separate sellers. When it came to binding them to W1 I clearly remember I had issues with both of them and the big one i gave up on in the end coz I had other stuff to do that day. As it turned out W1 app was limited to 4 smart socket events so the 3rd one was not need and I never tried to use it again. I know I just kept messing around trying again and again and all of a sudden the smaller 2nd one binded and has worked flawlessly since every day for nearly a year on some outside lights. All I can suggest is keep wiping them and keep trying to rebind them.

I would think that it would be a programming chip (eprom) no amount of battery drainage will clear it as the chip has been programmed using firmware. From the cobwebbed areas of my early years I would say those chips have a reset leg and when power is applied to that leg the memory gets cleared but it would be up to the manufacture to provide a switch to press (like modems have) to clear the memory. W1 does not have one.

One of my outdoor smart sockets got abit wet in some heavy rain and I pulled one of my spare S71's out of the cupboard that I had previously been messing around with it. I also had problems rebinding it and gave up on the first 2 attempts. I followed the smart socket and W1 manual to the letter which left me no better off. Finally by luck I found the missing step see my post here under the smart socket section

I am just adding to this with my J009 problem. After running properly for a while, my J009 siren stopped working when the alarm was triggered or tested through the app. Funnily it works when tested through the W1 unit.
I was resetting the siren a number of times and reconnected it, which works. However when then triggered or tested, the siren starts and you cannot stop it. After some thing like 15-30 seconds it then luckily stops.
Any thoughts/experiences?

I am taking that when you reset it, that means it doesn't recognise W1 after the reset (eg like when it was new) and then you re-added it to W1. If that is the case and it re-adds but then doesn't respond to the off command once it has been told to trigger. I am thinking the siren is screwed, chuck it in the bin and buy another one.

Yeah, that's actually the case. Quite recently, luckily during day time, it just went off without reason and we weren't able to stop it. After a mimute or so it was over, and I unplugged it!

Just a wild out there thought, but have you checked that none of the detectors are set to emergency or one of the zones that triggers whether the alarm is armed or disarmed.

Yepp, checked all that. It also doesn't show anything in the history. I left it unplugged for a while and will give it a fresh start this weekend. Elsewise I guess I'll have to order a new one...
