Bello guys. My first Kerui here. Its possible to use a different door sensor Brand in Kerui w18? Tks for helping I have not done it..but let me tell you the long version of what is happening and you can decide. Kerui (from what I can see) is not a manufacture, instead they whitelabel other companies stuff which why all the alarm units are completely different and there is no commonness to either of them. All the Kerui products use the 433Mhz frequency to communicate with the sensors. A sensor gives off 1 or 2 hexidecimal code/s when switched (the code never changes). Eg you open a door sensor a code like #e0109e fires through the air on 433Mhz. When you buy a sensor eg a kerui door sensor you must bind it to the Kerui alarm. Binding is basically Kerui unit goes into listening mode, you then open the door sensor and the alarm unit registers the hexidecimal code and then knows when it sees this code on the 433Mhz frequency that it is that door sensor opening. This goes for all 433Mhz devices, eg the keypad, keyfobs, sirens... So I would like to say yes you can buy ANY 433Mhz sensor from any manufacture and it will work with Kerui coz all Kerui cares about is knowing the hex code of a device and once it knows it, it will do what you tell it to do when that code is seen eg sound the alarm.

I did purchase another brand of wireless door sensor operating at 433Mhz, but it failed to pair with the alarm system.
