As the post title suggests my question is, are the kerui tags active or passive? if passive has anybody replaced them with smaller fobs?

If passive has anybody replaced them with smaller fobs? Are you referring to the blue thin plastic RFID tags? They contain no battery so they are passive. I have 1 on my wifes car keys and one on mine. My wife doesn't use hers being the technophobe that she is. But I love it, the size doesn't bother me its pretty much the size of an army dog tag and soon as I walk in the front door I just press any key on the keypad and tap card on the keypad and alarm is disarmed 'tap and keep walking'. They have unique chip in so I guess if you wanted to replace it with another brand you would need to research compatibility to see if you can actually pair a different brand RFID tag you won't find any information on the internet about Kerui systems and RFID specs. But if you did some research and posted on here you would be the first one to create some documentation about it that would be found on google.

I have 3 different brands of RFID tags on my system. One of them is even a cat collar tag for opening a cat flap!!! You just 'learn it' as though it is a standard fob
