I have installed new SIM card (no PIN) but the unit keeps searching for signal. I've tried different locations near the window etc but it's still not working. I've read somewhere that the system only supports 2G SIM card. Is it true? I don't I can get a 2G SIM card locally. Any advise? Thanks.

I am not familiar with your model, but this may work for you.
When you power up the system, watch the display. As it initializes, does it display a message like "GSM 850/900"? This will tell you what frequencies are supported by your system.

According to specs, this model is able to support GSM850/900/1800/1900MHz. I left the SIM card in it close to 5 hrs and it's still searching.

Try to verify that the SIM is working OK. Put the SIM into a phone and make/receive calls. (Try starting the phone as close as possible as the location of the alarm system to verify that the alarm system gets good reception from the mobile provider.)

Hello, I’ve got a response from the Kerui Team. The device is not compatible with 3G SIM. It only works with 2G SIM card.
