I think that "Ready to arm" needs to be set to "On" - then it should check all the sensors before allowing you to arm the system.
Have you checked that the alarm is triggered when the system is armed and you open the garage doors? (This would be a way of checking if the garage sensor is communicating with the control unit.)

sero - yes, I read your post!
Step 1 - I am wondering whether the W20 Android app is working correctly - check on the W20 control panel and verify that the W20 Android app actually made the change to the Ready to Arm setting. Step 2 - as I suggested previously, verify that the door sensor is within range of the W20 control panel - check that the alarm is triggered when the system is armed and you open the garage doors

Hi brooke02! Thanks for your feedback! Step 1. Done! I tried several times to off/on Ready to arm settings! It's set to on now! Step 2. It's within range! Alarm is triggered when armed!
But still it doesn't function when doors left open!
Scenario 1: 1) System not armed 2) Door is open 3) Arm the system 4) I get no notification on phone about doors left open status!
Scenario 2: 1) System not armed 2) Door is open 3) Home arm 4) I can hear at the panel that "zone xx alarm error" but no notification on phone!

Sero,
Scenario 2 sounds interesting. I wonder why it works when you set Home arm, but not in regular Arm mode - is the sensor set to Normal or Burglar, or whatever it is called?
It would seem that the developer assumed that you only activate the system from the control panel and didn't take into account that the system could be armed using remote key fob.
I have also struggled to get my system working in a reliable manner - there seem to be too many things that just don't work as expected. For example: 1. When my system sends out an alarm (in Chinese) it does not include the message that I recorded. 2. When I use SIM card(without PSTN telephone line) it sends a message to the G19 app on my mobile, but it does not make a phone call to designated phone. 3. If I remove the SIM and use a PSTN telephone line, the alarm system answers my incoming calls, so if I don't answer the phone within about 5 seconds, I miss the call. 4. On a number of occasions my remote siren has started to make a noise for no apparent reason. I thought maybe that the siren was not able to sense the control panel, so moved the siren to a location about 4 meters away from the control panel, but problem still remained. 5. Any attempts to contact Kerui Customer Service were met with absolute silence.
Overall, I am not very happy with the performance of the system or the support!

Is it possible the system is complaining about the other, one-way sensors that did not respond when you arm system?

Hi Eric, brooke02. This alarm system is obvious a bad product Scenario 2 doesn't work ... i mean it says "06 zone error" at the panel but there is no notification on my phone! (if i am outside of the house and want to arm i would never know that the door is still opened ) Scenario 1 doesn't work at all! I tried to set this zone (sensor) (which is assigned to Zone 06) for various zone attributes from "Ordinary" ... 'till the last one "Old man", but nothing has changed! So in any situation i will never know that my door is still opened except if i set "Home Arming" and i am at the alarm display panel to hear "06 zone error".

"This alarm system is obvious a bad product" - my conclusion too!
(I help folk in our village with their security issues. If the alarm system had worked reasonably well, they would have had another 185 customers. Their loss!)
