There are 2 types of door sensors: DO25 Leo has been a kind gent and posted his findings on amp draw on the DO25s after he had problem with 1 of the units chewing threw batteries. I took out all 15 D025 I have, I measured all( how much energy they consume and I found out that 1 of them, the one I wanted battery every 15 days had problem. The user manual and the specs are wrong, D025 when they sent signal consume from 18,5 to 21,5mA each, in stand by they consume from 6 to 7 microamps ( 0.007mA ) So when the light comes on they are sending a signal, any other time whether the door is open or closed they are in standby mode. DO26Unlike the D025 which only transmits a single output when the door gets opened. The D026 transmits 3 different signals door opened, door closed and tamper. This of course is only helpful if you have bought a Kerui alarm unit that is able to read the 3 events for example the W1 does NOT, but K7 and W193 have been confirmed as handling door open, closed events. kind thanks to onkytonk over at the home-assistant.io forums for sharing his findings on the measuring output of these sensors.
