Hi, Is someone more than me experiencing bad quality on the DO26 door sensors? I have bought 8 in total and I have problems with 4 of them. It seems that they cannot be more than 4 meters from the alarm unit(W193) it self to work. And I have changed batteries and it doesn't help in any way. //Calux

Don't know if this helps you, this is the inside of one of my DO25's you can see the size of the antenna.

The antenna is a little bit longer on DO25 compared to DO26. But the specifications says Transmission distance:50-150m in open area. And in my case it´s only 4 meters.

Hmm.. I would try this and if they still fail. Try and get money back.
1. Take good unit and bad units all together. Set alarm to doorbell. Move away 2meters from alarm unit and test each switch. As switches fail leave them on the ground at their max distance and keep going with the others until you've reached your holding the last switch in your hand. 2. Swap battery from best switch with worst switch and try the distance switch with the bad switch that now has the new battery in it. 3. No improvement?? Hit seller up for warranty.
ps you might want to use sticky tape or something to label each switch so you can keep track of which one is which.

I think that the DO26 has manufacturing quality issues. How far a way can you use your DO25 sensors and do you have many walls in between the W1 unit and the sensors?

The solution might be a repeater, to strengthen the signal or switching to DO25!?

Don't know if this helps you, this is the inside of one of my DO25's you can see the size of the antenna. Does DO25 have low battery power warning sent to alarm panel to alert you?
