I am looking at upgrading from my W1 unit to one of other units.
At the moment 2 things annoy the hell out of me with W1 and hoping the new unit doesn't have them.
1. Does it have a limited number of events you can add in smart sockets (w1 only lets you create 4 on/off events). 2. Does your outside siren beep when you arm/disarm with keybob or keypad? (w1 makes two very loud annoying beeps).

I wish there programming was better(consistent). You own a W7? So it turns out that any sensor or remote that is paired to it can have the arm/disarm chirp disabled. You have to disable it for each device, which I did, and surprisingly it disabled it for the app as well, only now the siren is 1 for 3 on sounding during an actual alarm (test). In fairness Ive moved the siren around to different outlets at the same time so its hard to say... I have very little time in with the system so far so these little quirks might work themselves out. So far I am extremely impressed with the K7 and the reliability of the notifications via the app, and now sim card texts which I just finished installing. ($5 / mo for 250 calls/texts). The only other system I have to compare it against is a system I had from ProtectAmerica about 8 years ago. It was their standard unit at the time, not touchscreen, bulky and pretty basic, but pretty reliable. It was also $36 a month and an absolute nightmare to cancel, but thats another story...

Hi Ryan, just checking in with your experience a few months in with k7. Also do you use the timed socket function on the app. Do you know if there is a limited to how many turn on/off events you can create. W1 which I own only lets me create a grand total of 4 events. To turn 1 smart socket on and off needs 2 events so basically I can only have 2 smart sockets on timed. In my screenshot once I add the 4th event the 'add' button disappears so you can't add any more events
