Here is something funny. I just installed a nee PIR sensor (one of those eggs). All works well, but we had it twice now that the system was after disarming (from status 'armed', on the app it shows disarmed and green light on the unit) but the sensor was triggering an alarm. To deactivate the alarm, we had to arm and disarm the unit and then it remains quite, but it feels like that this sensor would not disarm properly. Even though that doesn't make sense, because each sensor is not getting armed/disarmed itself individually.
Any thoughts?

Even though that doesn't make sense, because each sensor is not getting armed/disarmed itself individually. Any thoughts? Yes, first thoughts is the PIR is a simple device. It does not care whether the alarm system is armed or disarmed. All day every day (unless it has a flat battery) is monitor the room if it detects a heat change and it sends the same trigger message to the alarm module whether the unit is armed or disarmed. What the alarm system does with that event is up to the alarm. The only problem you will face from a PIR is it triggering on things like eg rats, heat winds etc. My garage has settled down by that PIR used to set of the alarm 2 or 3 times a month when that area was armed. It's favourite time was in the middle of the night..grrr I would suggest (to be sure) delete the detector (eg the new PIR) and see if your app is still playing up if not. Try adding the PIR to a different detector slot on your APP. When you arm and disarm your unit you are not acutally arming the detectors, you are only telling your alarm unit what to do if one of those detectors fires back a signal which they are doing all day every day eg you open the front the door sensor sends a trigger to the unit, but the unit is in dis-armed mode so the trigger is ignored. Hope this helps ;c)

It bothers me that the motion sensor is triggered every now and then with its false alarm.. any way around this one? You mentioned your PIR used to do that.. not anymore?

It actually doesn't. I replaced the indoor siren though, but since that no false alarm anymore. You can say it's running stable, except the smart plugs...

Maybe the PIR Sends a "Tamper Alert" Signal instead of "Motion detected" Signal (or System misinterprets Signal as Tamper Alert)? This would force the System, to go to Alert State. To avoid this, disable Tamper Alert in System Settings. Tamper Alert then only occurs, if System is Armed.
If System is Home Armed, Tamper Alert will not occur in Stay Zones, only in other Zones.

Thanks, but where in the G19 menu is a setting for Tamper Alert? I can find a setting for 'detector low voltage' but nothing that relates to Tamper!
My problem is that when opening a PIR to fit new batteries it sounds the alarm, even when the system is not armed, so if I can turn that off I can change batteries without annoying everyone around me.

I am using W18 and had the same Problem, when opening my door sensors, to replace battery. In W18 there is a Tamper Option that can be disabled but I think, W19 has no such option (I looked into the Manual, but did not find any Option). Maybe it is connected to the low Voltage Reminder Option or they have forgotten to make this option switchable.
