So today was version 2.0 of the iOS app released. Will see if that fixes some of the new bugs. However, even through 2.0, I don't expect a major version change - sadly... Android got the update too, but it created a bug where the app kept forgetting the username and password details which was annoying as my password was a complex password I generated using lastpass. I emailed the developer and 2 days later i noticed there was another update in the play store. He didn't update the notes on what the update was I am hoping it was a password fix.

I opened the app today and it had forgotten the username and password again. I've emailed the developer again to let him know about the login issue and also let him know about this forum so he can view our discussions and hopefully join in where possible.

still no news on andorid version. I'm very dissapointed from Kerui. that's the cost we pay for not buying a brand system.

The latest iOS update was in early 2016. But you brought up a great point, even though my thought would be slightly off-topic. But what other options besides Kerui are you guys aware off, that don't require a service fee/subscription? I read about SwannOne, but it seems that their system isn't very mature. Also many of the IoT stuff supports similar features, like WeMo, etc. But are there any real alternatives?

There has been 2 updates in the last couple of months. The 1st one was a major UI update which had some bugs including the bug that made the app keep forgetting the stored login details. The 2nd update was for some bug fixes but the developer didn't update the notes on the play store so don't know what they did, but one thing is for sure they didn't fix the remember login detail bug as the app is still forgetting. I have emailed them 11/6 (update was released on play store), 17/6 & 22/6 asking for it to be fixed no reply and no sign of an update on the last 2 occasions. If anyone else can also email them huyu0415@163.com and ask them to fix as well please, as well change your feedback on the play store to let them know it is broken.

Update 2.06.170622 was released on the Play store. I've sent them an email to see if it had a patch in there for the issue with the app forgetting your login details.
I did get an email response from them Friday regarding the issue saying to not logout of the app when closing it and to just click on the home button on the phone and then close the app using task manager. Sent them an email back letting them know that I have never signed out and it does it on its own since the major UI update. Hopefully this minor update fixes it coz I haven't been using my alarm due to having to login everytime.

Update 2.20.170719 released yesterday for Android. Fixes login bug, error 8002.
So far it has not failed to login. And does not logout on its own. But I have been using it for only about an hour.

Wow that is massive UI upgrade I don't even recognize the app. I hope this fixes it too. I had everyone in the house trained to turn on alarm via the app. Since the logout issue no one uses the alarm now and I bet I am going to have a bet to get them to start using it again now.. Hmm unless, I stage a fake burglary and hide all their stuff, that will motivate them ;c) ps don't forget to update your play store reviews to match the new app.

Update 2.20.170802 released for Android, update notes mention fixes for login failures and time errors. Login performance has been reliable since version 2.20.170719, the current version performs similarly.
Version 2.20.170719 would occasionally throw errors when re-entering the app after leaving the app in the background for an extended amount of time. I find that if you click on the back button till you get to the first screen then click "Message", wait for logs to appear, then click "Device", W1 will reappear and you can get reconnected. Too early to tell if version 2.20.170802 suffers similar issues.

All my login issues have disappeared (the scars still run deep though) and app performance is fast.
It is good to see for once he actually told us what he updated this time. I did have a grumble at him 2 updates ago for not putting any notes on what he updated.
My big gripe at the moment is they got rid of which detector was triggered from the logs. My alarm went off whilst I was out yesterday and my neighbour was checking around my house. I looked and looked again on the app but all that is available now is which zone was triggered so I wasn't able to tell him where to look.
I sent an email to the developer asking them to re-instate the log of which detector was triggered.

The iOS App got a facelift. Very first thought: it looks very different and not necessarily more intuitive. Second thought: the sensors are still not showing up in the alarm log...
Has anybody discovered any big fixes or new bugs?

Has anybody discovered any big fixes or new bugs? Here is one and not a small one. I cannot open the screen with the smart plugs anymore. Whenever I am clicking on 'Smart Home' the app suddenly closes... Is anyone really testing these apps prior to their releaseš§ Cheers!

For a while the smart plugs aren't working with the iOS W1 app anymore on our end. Tested it with different devices, but the app always terminates when clicking in smart home. Has anyone experienced that too?
