How did you guys set up your jumper?
How is the 5min setting working? Is it really just checking every 5 minutes or every 5 after the first detection?

This is a very good question  Setting LED to 5mins sounds good! but... 1. If you set it to 5mins then how do you know tell whether the battery is flat? When it triggers every 5 seconds you can quickly see LED working. 2. During the day when I am working from home out of my garage I have the door open and when I go inside i set the zone to doorbell so if someone walks in i get notified. When the trigger time is set to 5mins, it means someone could be in my garage and triggered the PIR but i didn't hear the first doorbell chime. That person is now going to be in my garage a further 5mins undetected because the PIR has a 5min delay till next trigger. Long story short I changed all my PIRs back to 5seconds. |
