Hi all,
Looking for some assistance with a Kerui J009 Indoor wireless strobe siren. Am following the ch/instructions (I think) but cant get it to work as it should, have found a few quite good vids on youtube, but can seem to get it to work. I have a Kerui W20 alarm.
I have plugged in the siren and turned on the DC switch (the LED has turned from red to green), and left it in the on position.
I press the set button for three seconds and it goes into study mode, 4x LEDs light up and stay on.
On the alarm panel I go into sensors – wireless alarm – and press the menu button to toggle the wireless siren option to ‘on’, which it does. I have ‘output with alarm’ set to on too.
I then press the set button to get out of study mode. But have noticed that ‘wireless siren’ reverts back to ‘off’ after a while for some reason – am I right in thinking this switch turns on and off the wireless siren function, or is it for something else?
When I try to simulate an alarm the alarm host alarms, the other wired siren goes off but the J009 wont go off.
But when I press the SOS/alarm button on the fob – it works and alarms/flashes?
I have set the volume on the J009 to the loudest by pressing the set button.
I have turned on the panel sound to on in the sensor section.
I have set - System – volume - alarm volume: set to the highest level.
I also found a vid that shows how to unlink the siren, which I have also tried and re-linked it but it still doesn’t work. There is a lot of flashing and Di Di-ing happening when I arm/disarm but not sure if it is doing what it should, or even possibly telling me there is an issue.
Anybody got any advice as to what I could try or what I might be missing/doing wrong?
Thanks.
