Hi
First thanks Russel for starting this board, very helpful. Thanks too to pigeon for the clear instructions on how to pair the SJ1 Wireless siren.
I have a W193 with PIRs and Door sensors, an O2 PAYG SIM, and wireless connection. I have a wired internal siren. On testing I receive SMS messages
when an alarm is triggered or I switch off the power to the W193. I have set a 20 second delay for Entering and Exiting.
All is working well, except, now that I have fitted the SJ1 when an alarm is triggered the W193 activates the 20 second delay, but, the SJ1 sounds immediately.
I'm sure I need to set something differently, but cant work out what. Any help would be much appreciated.
Whilst here I would echo others who have said that this is a quality product, well made with good quality components, sadly let down by very poor instructions.

Update
I have resolved this problem and in case it may help others, this is what I think happened:-
Further investigation showed that it was only one PIR sensor that was causing the siren to instantly alarm, others would trigger the alarm and the siren would only
sound after the 20 second delay.
When I paired the siren with the alarm I did so in front of the W193 unit which was in sight of the PIR which was causing the siren to instantly alarm.
I think, though I cant prove it, that when the SJ1 siren paired with the W193, it also paired with the PIR unbeknown to me. This is because the SJ1 can be an alarm
in its own right, and is capable of being paired with sensors as well as an alarm unit.
I took down the siren, took the W193 off the wall and took them both upstairs into a room with no sensors. With no one in the house to trigger any sensors, I
performed a factory reset on the SJ1, and re-paired it to the W193. Tested with all sensors, all working with delay before siren sounds.
One question I still have though is how long will the siren sound for? I have the W193 set for 20 minutes, but the SJ1 manual seems to talk of a maximum time of 10 minutes.
Without being antisocial I can't really test this. Anyone know from experience?
