Hi,
Since a year I use a Kerui G18. Now I got a problem and can´t solve it.
The siren beeps like arm/disarm the system, but without speaking any text. This action is several times a day, without doing anything. In the history there is no entry about this.
I read a hint in the web, maybe a battery from a sensor is getting low,
all batteries now are new, the system is also beeping - in every state. I also removed all batteries in the sensors - the same.
Do anybody know whats wrong with the system?
Thank you.
Bye

Tommy74,
Maybe a problem with the battery in the control panel?

Hi brooke02,
I don´t know.
The system is constantly connected to the electricity, if I disconnect it, the system continues the work (and also beeps again in undefined intervals).
Should I replace the battery?
Thank you. Bye

Tommy,
I am no expert - just trying to make a guess. I would be surprised if the control panel battery is having problems after just one year.
Maybe the control panel has lost contact with one of the sensors? Another possibility is that a tamper alert has been activated by one of your sensors?

- Have you checked the settings for each of the sensors to make sure (for whatever reason) one of them has not changed to represent a triggered sensor i.e. if a PIR is set to doorbell mode it will sound on the panel every time someone goes past it.
- Try disconnecting each sensor in turn or disconnecting all of them and add them back in - in turn to see if one of them is replicating the issue. You will then know what sensor or accessory is triggering it.
- Have you looked through the alarm log to see if there are any activation's at the times it sounds?
- I don't actually have the G18, but my one (W193) tells me either in the app or on the panel, or by text message which sensor has a low battery.
- Failing all that, try a factory reset and set the sensors up from scratch....
p.s.
- Also, to clarify, you say it is beeping like the arm/disarm sound........ does it do it once, twice etc? continual? is it a single beep or multi tone beep?
Just my thoughts on it Tazzy

Hi,
now I waited at the control panel to see what's happen and now I saw that the system is restarting at this moment.
Sensors are all correct. The tone is a multi-tone, the same as it sounds at arming/disarming.

Hi,
I think in that case, a factory reset might be a good thing to try. Other than that (and if you have power connected) it sounds like either the control panel or battery has an issue if it keeps restarting.

Tommy,
I agree with Tazzy - it's a bit of work getting everything configured again, but I would give factory reset a try.

Today I've made a factory reset, tested without connecting any sensors or remote, same error.
Now I opened the system and disconnected the battery, again the same error.
Now I think the G18 is defect...
Or do you have any other suggests?
Thank you, bye

Well I can't say for sure but with no sensors connected and a factory reset it would suggest it may be faulty. I am all out of ideas sorry.

Tommy,
I am no great expert, but you seem to have done a good job of isolating the problem. It certainly seems something to do with the control panel. The only other thing that I can think of is something to do with the communication side - telephone line or SIM card. Otherwise, it sounds like the control unit needs replacing.
