User manual courtesy of ( mikez): K16 User Manual English (PDF) 1.91Mb Here's video to bind it to W1 Pros - RFID touch keys to turn off the alarm. Makes it easy to disarm unit as you walk in the door. - Wirelessly connects/binds and batteries last many months so no need for wiring. - Looks nice. - Easy to mount. Being battery operated you can mount anywhere. - Tamper switch. Will sound alarm if someone tries to remove it, regardless of whether alarm is in away or home arm mode. Cons - The RFID tags only disarm the alarm if you used the keypad to arm the alarm, if you use the APP to arm and try and use the RFID tags they don't work.- The touch screen is Resistive touch (as opposed to Capacitive touch like smart phone) which means sometimes you need to somewhat press hard on the digits to register your touch more so on first key press. Home assistant This panel is discussed on home assistant here for integration Update 25 Nov 2017 Thanks to calux who discovered by pressing any of the keys on K16 so it lights up (wakes up) will allow the RFID tags to disarm the alarm unit (it cannot disarm whilst asleep).
