Steps to hosting the file so you can link it to the forum: 1. Upload the file you want to share to your Cloud file account eg Google Drive (15GB free), Dropbox (2GB free), One Drive(5GB free), iCloud(4GB free), Box(2GB free) 2. Get the public link to that file from your cloud account (make sure the sharing is set to something like 'public, or 'everyone') 3. When you posting you'll see in the formatting bar above where you type things like bold, font size etc. Click on the "Link" icon in the post here and paste the link.
Tips 1. For good house keeping in your cloud account I recommend you create a folder called Kerui and place your shared documents etc in that way you know whatever is in that folder is for kerui stuff eg this forum. 2. When you share a file, let people know in advance what the file is, the size, the document type and where it is being shared from eg Dropbox. It's just courteous.
Warnings 1. Public file hosting sites. Some of these website only host for your file for X amount of months/years before deleting it, this forum will be around for years to come as will your contribution just bare in mind when you are sharing file links that hopefully they are hosted in places that will be there for sometime and not become dead links.

Besides the upload, could we maybe also mention the model ID in the thread title? That would be quite helpful for easier navigation. ;-)
Just got W1 yesterday, happy to upload any additional manuals that might not have been uploaded yet.

Do you mean the model ID of the detectors? Or do the alarm units have more detailed model ID's than W1?
