Hi.
I was playing around with a G18 panel and I armed the system and took out the battery from a sensor but the alarm wasn't triggered. I know that in normal circumstances, it's very difficult to take out a sensor battery without triggering it first, but what about if you decide to power the sensors or most of them with an external power supply?
In that case if the power supply is powered off, the alarm won't be triggered.

Sensor no power supply, how to send signal to alarm panel host.

Sensor no power supply, how to send signal to alarm panel host. +1 Also if it did do this the alarm would go off if a battery went flat on a detector which would be a pain in the backside considering how many detectors there are. Some of the detectors have anti tamper switches on the battery flaps so anytime the battery flap is opened the detectors triggers, obviously the alarm will only then trigger if it armed when you open the battery door.

.. obviously the alarm will only then trigger if it armed when you open the battery door. When enabeling the Anti tamper function of my Kerui W18, the tamper Alarm of the Sensors triggers the Siren even when System is not armed. When disableing this function, the Anti tamper Alarm only triggers when System is armed. I like that function.
